Linda Finguerra, APRN, BC

Linda Finguerra is an Advanced Practice Nurse and is board-certified in Mental Health. Since 1986, Linda has held a license to practice in the expanded role as a psychotherapist and prescriber. Linda specializes in working with individuals diagnosed with eating disorders, trauma, depression, anxiety and other psychiatric conditions and has been working in the mental health field since 1975.

Linda meets individually with clients weekly on-site to assess the psychopharmacology needs of each client. She provides ongoing consultation to the Laurel Hill Inn clinical team on a weekly basis and continues to evaluate the medication needs of each client throughout the course of treatment.

Linda Finguerra obtained her undergraduate degree (B.SN) in nursing from Boston University as well her graduate degree (M.SN). She also has a graduate degree (M.ED) from Antioch University. Linda is a certified Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) clinician, which required extensive training to achieve. She developed and taught DBT outpatient programs for the Harvard Vanguard Medical Association and has provided consultation to various organizations throughout New England on how to develop and implement DBT programs. For the past 14 years, Linda has been an instructor in the concepts and skills training model of Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and its wide and profound application with clients at various levels of care.

Linda has a private practice located in Brookline, Massachusetts providing psychotherapy and psychopharmacology to her patients.
