About Laurel Hill Inn
Laurel Hill Inn programs provide residential, partial hospital and intensive outpatient treatment for adults with eating disorders. We have two discrete treatment centers, located in the Greater Boston Community. Our residential program is located in West Medford and our outpatient programs are located in West Somerville, near the campus of Tufts University.
Laurel Hill Inn provides a higher ratio of face-to-face, clinical staff to clients than any intensive treatment program in the northeast and throughout much of the country. Our residential treatment program treats a maximum of nine clients. Our treatment groups in the day and evening treatment programs are also limited to nine clients.
Laurel Hill Inn offers all of its treatment programs in attractive home-like, non-institutional settings. Our highly skilled and expert clinical team includes psychiatrists and consulting physician, psychologists, licensed social workers, family therapists, counselors, certified yoga instructor and art therapist. Our treatment modality includes individual therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, DBT skills training, nutrition education and meal planning, daily group therapy and a high concentration on experiential work pertaining to food issues and therapeutic social outings. Meals are prepared by a professionally trained chef.
